Unearth a Science Story: Archaeology

Unearth a Science Story Series is a three week program that explores historical earth science through books, discussion, and hands-on projects! Week 2: Archaeology Join us as we explore the many ways archaeology science has helped us learn about people that lived long ago. We will explore the STEM practices that scientists use to uncover artifacts, homes, and communities, hidden just below the earth’s surface. These discoveries can help us learn about long ago people, societies, and their way of life. For children entering grades 2 - 5. Adult caregivers must remain in the library during the program. All programs are FIRST COME – FIRST SERVED and space is limited. Attendees must come to the Youth Services Department no earlier than 20 minutes before the program to get a ticket. Program will
