Who we are

Kue is a free activity discovery platform that helps families find kids programs, camps, and leagues in their area. We aggregate publicly available registration information so families do not have to search across dozens of websites.

Searching for programs, saving deadlines to your calendar, and sharing reminders with caretakers is free for families. Always. We also offer optional premium features for families who want more. Those are described below.

What we collect and why

Information you give us

When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your ZIP code
• Age ranges of your children (for example, "6-8" or "9-12") — we never ask for names, dates of birth, or any identifying information about your children
• Activity categories you are interested in

We use this to send you relevant program alerts and reminders before registration deadlines close.

Information we collect automatically

When you use Kue, we collect basic usage data including:

• Which programs you view and save
• Which categories and zip codes you search
• General location (ZIP code level only, never precise location)
• Device type and browser (for improving the experience)

We use this to improve Kue and understand which programs families care about most.

What we never collect

We are intentional about what we do not collect. We never ask for or store:

• Your children's names
• Your children's dates of birth
• Your children's photos
• School names or student ID numbers
• Health or medical information
• Financial information (we do not currently process payments)
• Social Security numbers or government IDs

If Kue expands to include in-platform registration in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be notified before any additional information is collected.

Free and premium features

The following features are free for all families and will always remain free:

• Searching and browsing all programs
• Saving programs to your watchlist
• Adding registration deadlines to your Google or Apple Calendar
• Sharing calendar reminders with up to 4 caretakers

Kue may offer optional premium features in the future, such as early registration alerts and SMS reminders. These will always be optional. The core experience will always be free.

Children's privacy

Kue is a platform for parents and caregivers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Our accounts are for adults only.

We collect age range information (like "ages 6-8") only to help surface relevant programs. This information is never shared, sold, or used for advertising.

Kue complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

How we use your information

• Send you reminders before registration deadlines close for programs you have saved
• Alert you when new programs are added in your area
• Improve the Kue experience based on how families use the platform
• Communicate with you about your account

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information.

Who we share information with

Service providers

• Supabase — our database provider
• Vercel — our hosting provider
• Resend — our email provider (coming soon)

Program organizations

We share anonymous, aggregate data with program organizations — for example, telling an organization that "47 families in your area have saved this program." We never share your name, email, or any personally identifying information with organizations.

What we never share

We never share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We never sell your data.

Your rights

• Access the information we have about you
• Correct any information that is inaccurate
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Opt out of reminder emails at any time
• Request a copy of your data

Data security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Supabase's enterprise-grade security infrastructure with row-level security so users can only access their own data.

Program information

Program information on Kue is aggregated from publicly available sources. If you spot incorrect information, please use the "Report incorrect info" button on any program page.

Kue is a discovery platform. When you click "Register" you are taken directly to the organization's own website. We are not responsible for their registration process, payment handling, or privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page.
