Ghibli in Concert is a family-friendly, multimedia piano four-hands concert celebrating the enchanting music of Studio Ghibli films: My Neighbor Totoro , Castle in the Sky , Howl’s Moving Castle , Spirited Away , and Kiki’s Delivery Service . Performed by pianists Ting-Ting Chang and Betty Sawyer , the concert features expressive four-hands arrangements by Joe Hisaishi, accompanied by projected visual storytelling using the library’s built-in projector system. Scenes, still images, and animation art from the Ghibli films will be displayed to enhance the emotional and narrative flow of each piece.
