Unearth a Story: Colonial Science Series, is a four week program that explores trades and skills common during the colonial time period, through books, discussion, and hands-on projects! Unearth a Colonial Science Story! Chapter 1: Colonial Health Science Join us as we explore the ways early Americans dealt with illnesses and health care. Did doctors and apothecaries in Colonial times have modern science to cure a fever or stomach ache? Not really, but they made many great advancements that we still use today! We will go back in time to learn the STEM practices that early physicians used to help people feel better. For children entering grades 2 - 5.
