PreK PlayKrew: Building Play — Atglen Library

The PreK PlayKrew meetups are anchored to the idea of whole child learning by creating a space that nurtures social emotional development, language skills and cognitive growth, all of which contribute to Kindergarten readiness. Dramatic play days provide each child with a focal point for their imagination and creativity. While we provide the space, the experience itself is child-led, with participants collaborating to experience real world (and some out of this world!) adventures together. Language skills are strengthened naturally through environmental print samples, and social skills are gained through participation, as well as observation of peer play.
