The O'Rourkes in Concert: Shanties & Songs of the Sea – Easttown Library

Explore Oceans of Possibilities with the Sea Shanties and Songs of the Sea Program featuring The O'Rourkes. This program features songs of the maritime tradition from the British Isles, Canada, the United States and Australia, and also includes explanations about the historical, literary and cultural significance of the songs. The O’Rourkes are a well-known Irish folk act that play at pubs, libraries and many other venues throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Please join us as they make their maiden voyage at the Easttown Library. This event is family friendly and appropriate for all ages. Come learn about the history of this fascinating genre of music!
