About this program

Philosophical conversations take on big abstract questions about the nature of right and wrong, knowledge, beauty, etc. Practice critical thinking skills with a story and talking about the bigger questions that have no right or wrong answers. For this session, we'll be reading and discussing: The Blue Pool of Questions by Abu al-Hayyat Philosophy for Children (P4C) is a movement that contends that even the youngest among us can flourish in philosophical conversation. P4C engages young learners in discussions that help cultivate their critical thinking abilities, communication skills, and capacity to be active members in a community of inquiry. Students are invited to join Ursinus College undergraduates for a philosophical discussions based on picture books at the Phoenixville Public Librar
